Pizza Punks for Work
Buy them lunch without choosing it for them.
You put money behind the bar. They still order whatever they want. Nobody in your team has to collect a single preference.
The idea
Reward the team, not the organiser.
The usual way a company buys the office lunch is to make one person responsible for it. They gather preferences, get two of them wrong, pay with their own card and then chase finance for a fortnight. The people eating are happy. The person who organised it is not, and does not volunteer again.
Company's Treat is a Friday Pizza Club drop where you have already covered some or all of what your people spend. Everything else is identical. They scan, they pick a slot, they build whatever they want and they collect. The money side happens behind them.
The amount per person: not confirmed
The good version of the office lunchSix people at desks and a breakout table with six visibly different pizzas, mid conversation, boxes open. Nobody holding a clipboard. Ordinary clothes, real office light.
How the money works
Two ways to fund it.
One of these is close to ready. The other needs to survive a technical and accounting review before we would put it in front of you as an option. We would rather say that now than discover it at your building.
Prepaid credit
You buy credit up front and each person gets theirs. They spend it against their own order and pay anything above it themselves. You know the cost before the day, because you set it.
Pay for what gets used
You authorise an amount per person and are billed only for what people actually redeem. Better for you, harder to build. This needs technical and accounting design before we offer it.
Whichever way it runs, company money and any Pizza Punks promotion stay separate. If there is an offer on at your building, it applies to the order on its own terms. It is not quietly funded out of your allowance and it does not disappear into it.
They still choose. You still pay. Nobody has to run it.
Where it fits
What people actually use this for.
A funded standing date
The same day every month, on the company. A perk people can rely on, and the easiest one you will ever administer.
The thing that went well
A quarter closed, a launch shipped, a project survived. Lunch on the company without anyone building a spreadsheet.
A contribution, not the whole bill
You put something towards it and people top up if they want more. Costs less than buying lunch outright and still reads as a perk.
Being straight with you
What is still open.
This product is real and the mechanic is sound. These specific things are not settled, and the first one is an operational question rather than a technical one.
